Home Prices Fall For 6th Straight Month in January

The price of single family home in 20 major cities fell a non-seasonally adjusted 1.0% in January, according to the S&P/Case-Shiller home price index released Tuesday.  This is the sixth straight monthly decline.  Prices have moved down 3.1% in the past year.  The only market where home prices rose in January was Washington D.C.
